Image Grid Exporter (“Extension”) is designed solely to help Pinterest publishers extract images from webpages, customize image details (e.g., board name, H1 text, alt tag, keywords, and link URL), schedule publication dates, and export the data in CSV or TSV formats. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Data Collection and Usage

  • Local Storage:
    The Extension uses the Chrome Storage API to save user preferences (such as board names, grid settings, and monthly usage counts) and state data (for example, a unique device identifier generated on first use).
  • Active Tab Data:
    The Extension accesses the URL, images, and page title (H1 text) of the currently active tab to generate the grid of images. This data is used only to enable the Extension’s functionality and is not transmitted to any external server.
  • No Personal Information:
    The Extension does not collect personal information such as your name, email, or any other sensitive data. All data used is strictly related to the webpage content and your configuration settings.
  • Export Data:
    Data that you choose to export (via CSV or TSV) is generated locally and is not sent to any external server.

    All code and resources are bundled within the Extension. We do not load or execute any remote code.
  • No Data Sharing:
    None of the data collected or generated by the Extension is shared with third parties. All data remains stored locally on your device and is used only for the operation of the Extension.

The permissions requested by this Extension (activeTab, tabs, scripting, and storage) are used solely to enable its functionality:

  • activeTab & tabs: To retrieve the URL and content of the currently active webpage.
  • scripting: To inject scripts for lazy-loading and collecting images.
  • storage: To locally store settings and state data. We do not request any unnecessary permissions.

5. Your Rights and Choices

  • Local Data:
    All data is stored locally in your browser. If you uninstall the Extension, the data will be removed unless you manually export it.
